NEPAL ARMY INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCE : Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) is a service oriented non-profit making institution which is running a medical college, nursing college, and has a plan to run medical polytechnic school and a dental college. The NAIHS (Nepal Army Institute of Health Sciences) College of Medicine is located at Bhadrakal, Sanobharyang, Kathmandu. In the beginning the NAIHS college of Medicine was recognized by Tri-Chandra Military Hospital (TCMH) which was established in 1925A.D. (1982 B.S.). The college was established in the honor of Nepalese soldiers who were loyal to their country. It was considered as one of the best hospital of its time.

The intake of students in the MBBS program is solely based on the merit list of the entrance examination conducted by Institute of Medicine.
